K-27 TURBO
The K27 has been a tried and true long time upgrade from the standard K26 turbocharger for the 930 . Sure there are other brand turbos that have been claimed to create greater power / less lag etc but ANDIAL has found in the past that they are not reliable enough for our standards. Fifty more HP could be achieved in conjunction with a 1 bar boost spring and sport intercooler.

So you have a K27 on your 930 and it doesn’t fit the pipe going to the intercooler. Now what? Cut the pipe and weld a fitting that will fit the turbo? The solution; Our aluminum adaptor which bridges the gap between turbo and up pipe.

WASTEGATE BOOT

The wastegate boot is essential for control of boost on the 930. If this goes bad the boost becomes infinite hence a damaged engine. When replacing the boost spring inspect the boot for tears or cracks, the youngest of this type of wastegate is 15 years old and not getting any younger.

One of the easiest ways to create more power for the 930 is with a higher boost spring. More boost means more power, but also more heat. Don’t forget to insure the extra boost heat is in check with a well tuned engine and a sport intercooler.

Track car or street car the boost control can give the extra advantage of a couple more HP when needed. When used in moderation the engine will live out a normal life. This part is NOT used in conjunction with the 1 bar and above boost spring. If you or your customer feel that having control of the boost is not in the best interest of the engine perhaps a set spring is more in order. The kit includes the hoses and hardware necessary for the installation.
