Since the intercooler did not come with an intercooler the engine decklid needs to be changed to the ’78 and later lid to accommodate the sport intercooler. Removal of the recycling valve necessary. 91-94 965 (3.3 & 3.6 liter) Sport Intercooler

Direct replacement intercooler based on the 965 Turbo S model. It is a little tight but with a little rearranging of hoses it fits just fine. This intercooler is on an exchange basis. We would need the cooler and the shield that is pop riveted to the cooler. We modify the shield to fit an intercooler we have already converted to sport specs so the down time is to a minimal. (Exchange Basis only)

95-97 993 (3.6 liter) Sport Intercooler

Direct replacement for the standard unit. This intercooler is on an exchange basis. We would need the cooler and the shield that bolts to it for modification to fit the exchange converted sport intercooler. This keeps the down time to a minimum. (Exchange basis only)





Sport Intercooler Shield and Sealing Strip
So the rubber strip on the intercooler has deteriorated from age or perhaps you bought the car and there was no strip in the first place. Not to worry we have replacement strips. Don’t let precious cooling air go around the cooler, direct it through the fins as the factory did. So you found an ANDIAL sport intercooler on ebay but it is missing the fiberglass shield; don’t fret, we have spares for sale to correctly seal the cooler to the deck lid.
